Renovated stone and wood tiny house with a double bed in the mezzanine and a small bed in the living room. Big outside terrace with table and sofa looking to the forest. Just 5 minute down walk you have an access to the river with a private beach to swim, and 20 minute walk through a roman path to the beautiful beach of Avô town. You can also use the forest deck for yoga or meditation. On another part of the forest we have two campers with electricity, belt tent, an outside kitchen and a bathroom with hot water. If you are interest you can have access to this area or also rent for friends.

Natuur en omgeving

Casa Faisan is in Terra Viva, a land located in a peaceful chestnut and oak forest with direct access to the River Alva. No neighbors around, just nature and peace. The access is through a 2 km dirt road, always better with tall car or 4x4. We also offer free ride with our land rover one time a day if necessary, you can park 7 minutes walk to the monasterio parking or have a 20 minutes walk to the next village, Ponte das Tres Entradas or Avô. The Serra da Estrela has beautiful river beaches and spots you can visit during your stay.
